It's been a busy week...
Decided that I would finally update since I have some free time... well this week was band camp as many of you already know.. I've been going from 7-11 and 3-8... Although it's a TON of work.. I'm also having a lot of fun with it... most of the time... there's the occasionaly bad mood.. but I get over it..the first few days were kinda crappy... Thursday was AWESOME... well the afternoon part was.. guard had ourselves a big ole pow wow... I really like our guard... we're not all the best of friends... but we get along, and it's nice... I hear about the cheerleaders all the time and fightin and bickering and arguing... it's just awesome that we like each other... there's one person inparticular that doesn't quite fit in... but we do try to let her fit in it's just... sometimes... she completely ruins that... like everyone knows I say stupid stuff... it's not because I'm that dumb.. it's because I like making people smile and it works... but her... no.. I can't do that around this person because for some reason she immediately has her hands flying at me... slappin me on the arm or punchin me... the other day when we were in block she grabbed me by the wrists and just held me there.. i looked her in the face and said... get off me... NOW... and then two days ago in the morning she was slapin and punchin all over me "joking" we're not good enough friends for you to be beating on me...lol so I wish she'd take a step back...lol We start learning drill monday.. I so wish nicole would have stayed in band... things would be ten times more fun with her in it... we've been marching like... a lot this week and I do mean a lot... that's all we've been doing.. so thankfully things are going to look up this week and get better... oh lord.. SO many jokes from this week... I can't even remember half of them.. it's just been great.. so Megan...Cindy... if you remember anything funny...lol comment and put it in here... Today was awesome.. I wasn't too happy about waking up at 8 on a saturday morning to go to practice but I've got to get used to it since we'll be doinga lot of that for festivals.. and for ULL it'll be a LOT earlier..but all in all... it was fun... we learned two stretch routines.. I'm so limber right now I could.. well...hmmm where does flexibility like this come in handy??? gee.. wonder...lol then we learned some new across the floor stuff.. pretty fun.. China was dancing to a song and then she's like do this thing again.. and it was this whole booty pop thing...lol she decides she wants rifles to learn how to do that.. naah I'm straight!! ((White too))..lol I almost twisted my ankle doing split leaps in there too.. I could NOT do them in that tiny room... We all take up the whole lenght of the stage to do ONE, but we had to limit ourselves to a classroom... anyways.. we went to the auditorium... spun a little bit.. we sucked this morning with all of our tosses.. it was bad..lol then we had lunch, which was fun.. went in the band room to eat and there were some interesting conversations going on in there.. I said I was going to be a nun... SEth, China, and Selina all looked at me funny and were like psh... yea right.. Selina said.. don't you KNOW what you would be giving up?? and I said yea...:-( I was thinking along the lines of sex... she busts out.. STREET CLOTHES!!! get ya mind out the gutter..lol k blah blah blah we tried on our dresses.. looked like shit... real glad we got new uniforms.. ok.. went back in the auditorium.. we learned part of the dance for the opener.. it's such an awesome song.. random-i think this is hilarious... at first when selina wanted us all to do the dance.. we ALL did the jumpa t the same time and the cd skipped.. the whole guard could have DIED laughing... Megan, China, and me were on the floor dying of laughter.. and Me and Megan both had to pee so bad.. it sucked... I want to learn sabre... It shouldn't be hard to learn... if I can ever get one to learn on... I was playing with Selina's today.. it was pretty cool.. hurts like a bitch if you let it hit you though:(... well there's so much more I could write.. but I'm tired... later!!
