The weather is unsettling. I prefer the cold to this...onslaught of heat. Never the less, my parlor will be open, of course. What was all this...man-eating butterfly business?

The strangest things I've seen are in this place. The natural goodness of people included.  I'm looking for a blade specialist. I have a few tools to commission before the ( Read more... )

[Dressed uncharacteristically simply today, with just some shorts and a tank top (a relatively tasteful one, for the record), cleaning off one of the stations]

I dunno, Boss. Giant flocks of birds never seem to bode too well in my experience.

A bit daunting, I suppose. I've never had a problem with birds...free. Fluttery. My wife--she would always say she never had the heart to cage a bird.

Maybe it's just from living in Japan, then. Whole bird-flu thing, y'know? Guess I shouldn't worry about that here, though.

.......... Guess I should be glad I didn't get a "heater" yet. Too expensive, anyway

Bird flu? Hear about many a strange disease these days...

It's irritating. And what's strange is the sun is still at high noon.
