I will not be coming into work for a number of days.
Neither should you two.
A few days of rest, at the very least.

Thank...well, not God for some time, but at least that madness ended...to the devil with this city. Ms. Granger, how are you feeling?

Have the rest of the students come back..? Ms. Lovegood, Mr. Weasley...the rest of them...

Severus. ( Read more... )

quiet barber is quiet, ron, luna, excel, cori, hermione, severus, another bright red day, post-curse

The one you are attempting to consign this City to. It is not of his making, nor is it habitual for him to clean up other's mistakes.

Madame, I have not the energy or the patience to entertain riddles.

Like hell I shouldn't. After spending all week sneaking around the back side of town or cowering in a hole somewhere, I need to work or something to get back to normal. Sitting around doing nothing doesn't sit straight with me.

Couldn't do anything then, I'm not gonna do nothing now.

......... You alright, Boss?

Tired, Excel...in some amounts of pain, but mostly tired.

The shop could use some cleaning up, if you're truly avid about working...

Then you oughta go ahead and rest.

I don't like sitting around being idle. Makes me feel useless and gives me too much time to think. I had just about enough of THAT during the curse. It doesn't mean much to be able to do any work around the city now, but it's something. It might not be easy to put me outta commission, but that doesn't mean I'm any good against a buncha superfreaks. Wish I could've done more

Anyway, I need to work off this hangover, so working's the best therapy I can get right now.

Very well.

The entire space has been...wrecked, from what I can remember. I think it was searched twice more while I was gone. Set the chairs to rights, throw away the broken basins, I can find new ones on the 'morrow, see that the floors are mopped, swept...

That should give you a few hours work.

Barring the exhaustion I am experiencing of five days of running around attempting to quell the fires, you're quite welcome.

I find it highly amusing that they saw fit to name you and not me, Sweeney.

Oh, you would only be so lucky, Severus. Sleep, for hell's sake...

And what they convict me for! Hah.

I cannot. Mr. Shunsui has invited me for a drink tonight to celebrate the ending of the last five days, and I'll be leaving in a few moments.

That reminds me. Your razor is on top of the bureau, when you're feeling well enough to go and get it.

Do walk, not stumble home. If you cannot pronounce "slightly inebriated" near the end of the evening, you are far too drunk, and will reap it in the morning.

..You found it?

I'm considerable amounts of better, and you, Mr. Todd?

I'm glad to hear it, Ms. Granger...

Tired, mostly. Nothing to worry about.

I will stay off it for some time.

I will call for a healer today, perhaps tomorrow...and your hand?

We're all safe now, Mr. Todd.

Are you all right, you went through a lot this week.

Tired..and thankful this mess is overwith.

I am as well, though I am glad to have met you! I don't think we would have been acquainted quite as yet if what happened hadn't.

I believe you're right.

Something good came of it, I suppose.

You'll pardon my being forward, Ms. Lovegood, but your hair is a delightful shade of yellow...fine blonde, a bit pearly.
