A/N: I think Justin is the kind of person who, if he had not had any powers would never had been able to build up enough courage to talk to Chloe. I rather liked him... up until a certain point (the point where he tried to kill her) and am sad that his character was so quickly dismissed. And yes, I would loved to have seen him in a later season again... maybe even matured in his thinking and character. But alas, it was not to be.

He watched as she sat down on her usual place in front of him. Her blond hair bobbed to her movements and she laughed heartedly with her friends. He longed to interrupt her conversation with her best friends and talk to her himself. Improbable as it was, for he never would have built up enough courage to do so.
The bell rang announcing the start of the lesson and every one sat down around him, straightened in their seats and directed their concentration forward to class. This gave him the excuse to watch her even more intently without arousing any suspicion. He had already many classes before memorised what she looked like from the back. Her slender and slam built of her shoulders, the shade of colour of her hair, the way she tensed whenever the history teacher said something that contradicted with her views of the same thing.
Sighing nervously he awaited the ring of the next bell that would now announce the end of the class. His nervousness was caused by his resolution that today would finally be the day that he spoke to her, about anything beside the school paper, or his comic strip in it. Maybe this time he would finally build up enough courage to at last ask her out, or at least tell her how much he liked her new hair style. Anything...
He wasn’t sure what it was that the teacher had said, but something or other had been said, and then to his utter surprise Chloe, the object of his tender feelings, turned her head back; in his direction to be exact. And to his further surprise, she graced him with a wink and a one sided smile. This action from her was enough to not only startle him, but to make him forget that he had prior to this formed a plan to talk to her. He heard the bell, saw her and her friends rise and watched as she continued out of the class room, laughing merrily and heartedly as a friend of hers engaged her in another conversation.
His emotions were in such turmoil that even after ten minutes had passed, he was unable to get up from his seat or to put away his books. His heart beat in such fast a rhythm that he feared his heart might break at anytime. He swallowed, or at least tried to and slowly composed himself enough to finally get up from his seat. Slowly and still confused at how it was possible for her to have so much power over him, Justin slowly collected his things from the table and walked out to the corridors, in hope that he would see another glimpse of his only heart-lady, Chloe Sullivan.
