Fandom: Men In Black/ Smallville
Author: vodooman
Rating: g
Genre: Humour, Crossover
Characters/Pairings: Chloe Sullivan, Jay, Kay
Short summary: “Do we really have to flash-thing her?” asked a dark skinned man in a black suit.
Any warnings: No spoiler or something… but the first part is really only from Jay and Kay’s POV while the second part till the end is Chloe’s…
Disclaimer: I don’t own MIB or Smallville.
A/N: This would still be considered MIB (I)… He just turned into Jay… and the cockroach thing didn’t happen yet… so, it is kind of AU… Chloe would be season 1 or 2…
A/N2: In case you were wondering… J told her to do her homework and then go home instead of staying in the Torch tonight…

To Flash thing her or not, that is the question
“Do we really have to flash-thing her?” asked a dark skinned man in a black suit. He used to have a name before, but that was back when he had a different life. Ever since he joint a secret organisation called the ‘men in black’ he is only known as Jay.
“Standard procedures K9/34/801 state that outside informants who are not extraterrestrials must always after questioning be denorelised.” Said his partner and mentor Kay.
“Maybe it’s not such a good idea to always flash-thing her. I mean the kid is still growing. It could be bad for her health… like make her shorter than all the rest of her friends or something.”
“It’s standard procedure.”
“I know, but don’t you think it might be better to leave her brain intact. We do after all need her and the information she always provides us.”
“Code…”
“Whatever man. I’m just saying, maybe if you stopped flash-thing-ing her and she remembers us we won’t always have to start from scratch. Think of the possibilities Kay. No more fake covers, and Chloe Sullivan would just tell us the news we need instead of us always having to dig for the information…”
Kay stood still for a moment, seeming to regard his partner’s argument. Then without waiting for his younger friend, he pushed open the doors that lead to the ‘Torch’ and entered it.

Behind the desk in her office sat Chloe Sullivan, school papers editor. She was reading and working on her computer while drinking her fresh, hot coffee, when a man wearing a black suit entered her territory. She looked up and met his eyes. He was giving her something that was probably meant to be a smile. Creepy. Behind him came a good-looking younger man in the same suit, with his glasses on.
She couldn’t help but smile back when the younger man smiled at her. He raised his hand in greetings and said ‘Hi’. Amused by his sincerity without really knowing one another, she nodded back to him. For some reason she felt like a feeling of deja-vu hitting her. Odd.
The older man was now approaching her desk and said with more élan than she would have given him credit for “Hey there! I’m Kevin and this is Will. I know this might sound strange but we were surfing the net and crossed this one site, yours, and my friend and I made a bet after reading one of your articles about if it is possible that alien outside influence had anything to do with the attacks on high school girls around town…”
Before the older man could finish Chloe interrupted and asked with curiosity “What’s with the suit? You’re FBI or CIA or something?”
The younger of them replied her, ignoring his older friend behind him. “Or something. We were supposed to attend a meeting and snuck out. We work at the crap factory near here… You know it?”
Sensing small talk and a diversion from her actual question Chloe continued her own questioning “Funny, I thought I knew all the faces around here… So, you wanna tell me why you are really here? And who you are?”
The older of the two sighed. “Well done J. There goes our first lead… Now we have to nurelise her anyway.” J, wasn’t he called Will?
The older man turned to her, while fishing something out of his front pocket. It looked like a pen, but longer, and she noticed a red bulb on the top. He addressed her again and she wondered what they were going to come up with now. “All your questions will be answered if you just look at here for a moment” he said while tapping the red light. Before she could react a bright light stilled her…

Chloe had a feeling like something just happened… And something probably did happen because there were two men wearing black suits standing in front of her desk and arguing with one another in a very heated manner.
“I told you to not flash thing her! I don’t give if you do that to someone older, hell do it to that chick in the morgue. But don’t do this on a kid, who is still in her growing sprout!”
“Standard procedures K9/…”
“Cut the crap with your standard procedures… At least consider just once to not act like you have a stick up your…”
“Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here?” interrupted Chloe, still a little confused as to how these men could have gotten into her office and fight without her even noticing them until they were arguing… Come to think of it, she did notice that somehow she had just lost ten minutes… Weird.
The older man was turning away from the younger man and held up something that looked like a pen, and before she could turn her head light flashed her…

“Thank you again. I am sure that we will find the principals office now with that explanation” said an older man to her. She noticed him wearing a black suit. Funny, had he been here all the time…?
A little confused at what really happened and only knowing that she had just now helped the man and his friend out while having the urge to finish her homework instead of doing Torch-related work, replied “No problem.”
Both men turned and got out of the office. She watched them exit the doors, and was about to return to her work when the younger of both stuck his head back inside and called out. “Thanx… see you next time!”
“Whatever” said Chloe, turning to her work and finding her fresh Coffee already cold.
Weird, really weird…
