Every first Friday of the month was reserved for their special day. Under no circumstances was she or Lois allowed to get themselves kidnapped, taken hostage, be involved in any other apocalypses-like situation. Not on the first Friday of the month!
Because that first Friday of the month was reserved only for them. It was their girls out evening. And Lois had made a point with anyone interfering or even thinking about involving them on that day… let’s just say there was a good reason for people to fear Lois, and she used that to make a point.
On those days, Lois would drag her to a small pub, and get drunk, or they would go and sing very off tune in a karaoke bar, or watch a very fluffy movie… which Lois would never admit that she enjoyed, when both of them actually knew that she wasn’t crying because she had something in her eyes…
She always enjoyed those nights out with her favourite cousin, because that was the only time she had her for herself; No Superman to come between them, no Green Arrow to pester her to do work, no husband to tell her not to go out that night because he needed her in her Oracle-Mode. She loved the first Friday in the month the most…
