A/N: Some time ago I had very much fun with making some chloom pictures... so much i decided to put them up and put my little comments to it... hehehehe... and that was when I suddenly wrote a little romantic drabble...

Poor Davis Bloom. He had always been a very attentive and hard working paramedic. That was until he got to know Chloe Sullivan. After that he noticed himself that he slacked off at work, wasn't 100% at the job and more often than not made silly errors and mistakes.
He really didn't know why this was happening. He'd never felt so weird before. It was like a stone was weighing on his stomach most of the times. And when he talked to Chloe or saw her somewhere his heart would start to speed up, his throat would go dry and his breathing became difficult.
It really was something he didn't understand. Because never in his life had he felt like this. After the forth week of his symptoms he decided to ask his friend and co-worker if he knew what disease he had caught... because he really was worried that he might have caught something bad from one of the patients.
After he had described everything in detail, including that his symptoms got worse then he was somewhere near Chloe Sullivan, his friend Eddy only looked at him and smirked.
"Congrats man, you are officially in love!"
"What? That can't be." Davis tried to argue with Eddy. "Don't you think I'd notice if I fell in love with someone?"
Eddy just looked sceptical. Then he thought for a moment before he replied. "Davis, you told me yourself that your life wasn't filled with love and laughter... Maybe you just never learned what love really is. And that, my friend, is why you’re not seeing it as what it is!” When Davis still didn’t look convinced he decided to try a different angle.
“Davis, your hear speeds up when ever you see her?”
“Well… yes.”
“And you get this really uneasy feeling around your stomach. Like you want to loose your lunch? ... again, after seeing her or being in close proximity to her.”
“God, yes!”
“And your hands start to sweat like a waterfall, and you start acting like an idiot or start stuttering or talk about things you’d never tell others…?”
“…” This time Davis didn’t say anything. He just looked at Eddy, and came to the conclusion that it really must be true. He had fallen in love with Chloe Sullivan without really understanding what was happening to him.
“So that’s what being in love feels like?” he asked his friend. Eddy just smirked back at him and shook his head.
Poor sod, didn’t even understand what the feelings that were inside of him meant. Real pity.
