Interesting start. I'm intrigued to see more. Are you changing Smallville canon so that Moira died, or are you going with SV canon that she was catatonic/in Belle Reeve?

I'm not sure about that yet... I don't really think that will be important for this story yet. All we as reader know is that Chloe has only her dad now...

I think the line that threw me was that chloe only had one parent alive. In early sv, chloe didnLt know that Moira was catatonic, but she didnLt rhink she was dead. She just thought that Moira abandoned her. Which is where a lot of the characterls issues sprang from, IMHO.
