the iris, the lens
i need to get myself a new camera. two new cameras, actually. a point-and-shoot low-res job that also functions as a webcam, and a hi-res SLR, preferably a pentax or canon. if only i could afford either or both. my cheap 640x480 point-and-shoot | webcam that i had before [made by Dlink] served its purpose well for a few years before finally breaking down after much [ab]use, so i think i'll probably invest in another Dlink, they seem reliable and inexpensive.
i feel this urge to take photos more often - like i used to - since i've been frequenting great personal photo-blog sites like oh, cameras are macho! and chris glass and jinky art. so many pretty, high quality photos. surely i am jealous. i wish to capture similar images of beauty myself.
