(no subject)
so i had my consultation for my wisdom teeth this morning.
oh.god.
i thought i would only have to get one out,
because only one was poking out.
nope.
that ones just the most expensive one.
we went there,
and the lady was like
"ok haley, we are going to take your x-rays now, you look so nervous, what's wrong?"
uhduh.
in like 2 seconds you're going to rip my face open.
so she takes them.
and it was awkward
because i was too tall for their machine.
but the nurse decided to become bff's with my mom
and talk about the skankiness of girls these days
and how schools dont enforce the dress code
and how all the girls in high school have no self-esteem
so they feel the need to dress like hoochies
and i was like "uh HELLO. im right here"
so that took like 15 minutes longer
and the doctor finally came in
and we looked at the x-rays,
and this whole issue is pretty much a problem.
he was like
"well, looks like we're going for all four of them!"
and i was like "?!"
so then he asked me how i felt about it, and i told him that i hated teeth, and people touching them, and working on them,
so after he found out how nervous i was, he decided to go into detail about how he would remove them.
idiot.
he was like
"now okay, you can not eat for 12 hours prior to the surgery, specifically because of your asthma, and if you eat, the anethesia might cause it to come up and go into your lungs and cause an asthma attack..so bring your inhaler and we will have you take that before it starts...then we are going to give you an IV that will put you completely asleep and heavy novacaine.."
and i was pretty okay up to this point
and then he was like
"then we will extract the upper right tooth first because it is not impacted, so that one will come right out when we make a slit in the gums, then we will have to break the other 3 into pieces and extract them"
and he talked about the stitches, and blood clot sacks that will fill in.
i really dont want this to happen.
and its on thursday the 14th, so im missing atleast that thursday and friday, then we'll see from there.
but with my luck,
school pictures will be that next monday.
just because.
oh.
and my retainer will no longer fit after the operation, so i have to go to the ortho and fix that whole problem.
