i'VE BEEN HAVING A REALLY ANTISOCIAL MONTH.
I feel like that needs to be said, because apparently, one can be antisocial on the internet just as much as in the physical world. If there's a place I can be antisocial, I achieve it, at least once or twice a month.
I've been really into old music lately, specifically Loudon Wainwright, Peter Paul & Mary, Pat Benatar and just now Wings. I don't know, there's something really great about enjoying the music my parents grew up with, I feel like I'm connecting with them in a subconscious way, like maybe we had the same emotional responses to the soundtrack to The Graduate, or thought Paul McCartney was way cooler in Wings...I don't know, my mom was never super into music, and neither was my dad, but their record collection feels like a personal connection between us, as our collections continue to overlap (apparently Boz Scaggs made it onto both my mom's and I's shelves haha). It's really neat.
