Well. Okay. Not THE BEATLES. and I sadly don't have the TARDIS in my possession. (I'd imagine The Doctor wouldn't be amused by that..) It's actually this band called American English. The concerts they do are called American English: The Beatle Experience. They impersonate The Beatles fantastically well. During the concert they are Ringo, John, Paul and George. They have the mannerisms, the voices (oh, its so freaky how well they have the voices down), costumes for the different eras, and the music. omg. It was almost like sticking in a collection of Beatles music and listening to it. FANTASTIC.
It honestly felt like what I imagine it must've been like at a real Beatles concert. The best part is, they played the part of The Beatles so well...you would sort of forget at times during it that they actually weren't really The Beatles. I loved all the crowd sing-a-long bits that they did. Just..an amazing performance.Even after the concert at the autograph/photo area they kept in character (yes? character? because essentially they are acting the part/ being really awesome cosplayers?). It was incredible fun talking with them. Best part was getting the group pic with them. "Paul" made a comment about how they should sign all the checkers on my shirt whilst "Ringo" mentioned how I was more colorful than all of them. "John" told said I was very psychedelic and that I belonged in the Magical Mystery tour. "George" kept grinning at me, then asked me if my necklace was old. (I was greatly amused by him. During the concert, I was standing in front of him. The random stare offs were fun :D) I told him it was my grandmothers, then he whipped out a guitar pick from his pocket and asked me if I'd like to have it. I gladly said yes and took it, which he then hugged me. IT WAS AWESOME.
Also really amusing, when my friend went up to get her group pic with them...she ended up getting all O_O when by "George". Why? Let me explain. The guy who was "John" kept wandering off...so they would be trying to get him to come back. "George" decided that the best way to do this would be sing. At first we all thought he was doing the "Fat guy in a little coat" part from Tommy Boy, which made us all grin/giggle. But then we all realized that he was actually singing "Dead guy in a little coat. Dead guy in a little cooooat". Which is really morbidly hilarious. Because it was "George" singing that to "John". and they are both dead. XD (I'm sorrrrry. but it's funny. I've been already told that the departed souls of said Beatles are going to haunt me for being disrespectful. I humbly apologize and will try to resist requesting songs/fangirling in general if they happen to show up.) All I can pretty much say that if they come to your area, and you love The Beatles, go see theeeeeeeem. It'll be amazing.
