Before you get the wrong impression from my awesome icon, the clothes tearing did not lead to any happy.
On this beautiful snowy day I decided to waste time sleeping until 3pm. If that wasn't stupid enough (and bad for my health) I had the brilliant idea of trying to squeeze into my prom dress from three years ago. I'm going to Snowball with my friend, Kevin, on Saturday and I wasn't entirely sure which dress to wear. Forgetting that one brand's Size 12 was far from another's I slid the gray mass over my head and down my torso...then it stuck. Panic ensued. I pulled downward on the zipper frantically between thoughts of, "Oh God, will I ever get this off?" and "This SO fit three months ago!". The dress had the upperhand, being smaller and grippier, but after ten minutes of crazed tugging it admitted defeat. Now I also must admit to my mother that I ripped the $100 dress she payed for, albeit three long years ago.
Alas there were clothes torn off of me, but two days earlier and not by someone else. This has been one of many life lessons I hope to never relearn or revisit.
