Picked up by a Dean, dropped off by a Sam: aka My UnProm Saturday Night

May 11, 2009 18:23

As some of my f-list may not know I did the whole "un-prom" thing this weekend.

Part 1

I meet my friend Tiffany at the downtown CVS so we can get ready (we still got all pretty) at her house. My parents freak out as per usual when I don't tell them what we're doing every single fricking second of the night. They insist on Tiffany's mom showing them the way to James' (Tiffany's boyfriend's house, where the party was going to be later). When we arrive my father proceded to storm up to the door and insist to speak with "an adult of the household". James' dad (whose name just happens to be James, too) handled it very well and assured me that my father's berading him was "quite alright". What a great guy to put up with Dad's shit, right?

Part 2

After barely surviving that humiliation I got ready at Tiffany's house. We watched the original "Children of the Corn" while I applied my makeup and listened to Tiffany curse at her DS. When we were ready James and his dad, still awesome, picked us up and we drove around town to find that EVERYWHERE WAS PACKED! Duh, Anna, I tell myself, it's prom night. We end up at an Italian place "Elvira's".
James makes a SRS party foul when he says he thinks the girl at the next table's dress looks nice. Bad enough, but he didn't stop there. He went on about how well it fit and brought out her skin tone. All the while I'm sitting next to Tiffany motioning James to STFU. He doesn't  get the hint. She excuses herself for "a smoke" (or as us girls know "a time out for him to think about WTF he just said").
When she's outside he looks to me, the fatty eating the remains of Tiffany's soup, and says "I shouldn't have said that, should I?"
I give him a "no shit" look. I told him to tell her that her dress or her hair look good and suck up, no other way to yank his foot out of mouth.
Much groveling and one course later,  James looked in his wallet to pay and glanced back panicked. He says something about he forgot to put the money back in his pocket when he changed into his suit. He calls his father only to tell us his parents are stranded on I-75. Tiffany's about to make a break for it, I'm shrinking into the seat and James' face changes to a smile. HA HAD THE DAMN MONEY THE WHOLE TIME! He was trying to get Tiffany back for her April Fool's Day "I'm pregnant" shit. What an ass.

Part 3

A few punches and bitchslaps later we are back at his house to wait for whoever else is going to show up. Dustin and Aaron (A-likes me but is talking to someone else, but I didn't know the second part Sat) show up. Everyone dances, insults my musical taste (how do you dis Bad Company, please tell me?) and Tiffany, Aaron and I sit on the couch under a blanket James and Dustin went to get some drinks. Tiffany keeps trying to get me and Aaron together (and has been for a while) so I just think 'what the hell? Why not" So me and Aaron end up making out on the couch. That's not even the shocking part. He starts to, five minutes later, saying how he feels bad about it because he likes Morgan (whiney bitch that's using him). I'm sitting right next to him the entire time. No "no offense Anna" or even a "sorry" . Sure the kissing was good but really? What a whiney little Bitch!

This is me telling you about my life. Feedback is appreciated but not mandatory.
