I can't believe I just said this
N complained that his feet were cold, so I suggested that he go get his socks from upstairs.
He came down and handed his socks to me, saying "I can't put my socks on, Mommy, you need to help me."
I said, "You can do it, I know you can! Daddy said you got dressed all by yourself yesterday."
He said, "No I didn't! I had help! Don't you know friends help their friends with their projects?"
I said "Yes, and I am helping in the project of making you self-sufficient. I will hold one sock while you put on the other one."
He got both socks on without trouble.
