Crimson Peak
Crimson Peak was awesome, creepy (not horror), beautiful, lush, very very sad. If it is possible for a Gothic romance to be Baroque in its Victorian Gothicness, del Toro managed it. :)
There are ghosts, the real monsters are the people though.
Don't know how long it will be in theaters--it was (IMHO) badly mis-marketed as a horror movie, which it is NOT--but if you like del Toro or beautiful decay or stories told as much through color, costume, symbolism as actual words or motion, try this one.
Can't wait to see it again.
