WOO-HOO!! HEAT!

Power back on, been out since midnight Saturday. I got a chance to yell "THANK YOU!" to the National Grid guy driving by as I went out to retrieve the urgent laundry from the car. (N and I were just about to set off to find an open laundromat, with DVDs for him to watch on my laptop, when he happened to flip the light switch and the light came on.) House is already warming up, I've shed one sweater already. Vacuumed the dining room floor, too, so now I don't have to bribe my neighbor to take the little battery vac to charge; the good thing about candlelight is that it's hard to see what G throws on the floor.

*pets internets* the boys weren't the only ones with media withdrawal, smart phones just aren't the same.
