yeh i have noticed alot of similarities! i miss glasgow loads already though!
it's just a bit weird being totally on my own, even the people at uni from other parts of n.ireland seem to know each other! i'm sure i'll cope somehow!
aww you'll be fine. I went to Napier in Edinburgh and was the 'foreigner' ....and the folk i hung about with in the first month turned out not to be people I ended up being pals with.
there's a lad in my class called porig or something, i think i upset him yesterday by calling him porridge. actually there's alot of unpronouncable names in my classes. though most of them dont understand my accent anyway (not that i understand theirs any better mind you!) so i might get away with getting it wrong for a while longer.
