i wrote a story about my car reck in freshmen year here it is....
The road was covered with snow. Under the snow was a sheet of ice. We were in a hurry to get to youth group on time. I then asked my sister to slow down. She then pressed on the gas just a little bit the car instantly fish tailed. My sister recommitted and turned the wheel left too much. Instead of driving in to a four-foot ditch we then were in the wrong lane. It was pitch black out side. The only light was the set of headlights coming closer and closer. I blinked. My head smashing though the passenger’s window. My head swung back into the car as my arm flailed in to the steering wheel breaking the bone in to spots. My nee then slammed in to the glove box leaving it in excruciating pain. My hair in filled with peaces of glass. Deep cuts on the side of my head where it exited the window. I open my eyes. I can’t speak yet im talking. My body must have temporally forgot how too. Turned to my left and see my sister in no longer in the car. At first I thought my sister went threw the windshield but in seconds realized she was on her cell phone out side of the car. She was ok. Or was she I notice her she was holding her left arm looking for the ambulance. The firemen showed up first. I think all I remember is a man telling me to keep my neck still. He was holding on to it to keep it still. The man goes threw some routine questions. Where dose it hurt, witch leg, and dose this hurt when I do this? Then I hear a pounding on the door. Just stand still and tell me if anything hits you. We have to used the Jaws of Life to get you out the fireman tells me. They ripped the hood off and two men carefully lifted me out of the car and put me on a stretcher. My sister was already in one to. They pushed us both into the ambulance. I look at my sister and reach over and take her hand. I love you Leah
