Sourdough Bread Bowls and a Shooter's Sandwich

I rarely expend as much effort on a dish/recipe as I did for this glorified steak sandwich.

And, at the end, I didn't USE the bun I had spent all that effort on.

LOL ... I needed something creative to do with that last steak in the freezer.

I didn't even try last night. Monday nights are usually my easy ones. We had hotdogs and beans. And wine. :P

Wine sounds good ... I have a bottle of Pinot that's only got a cup or so left in it which I should really kill.

You would have enjoyed dinner last night then. I finished off one bottle (a glass) and opened another. It was that sort of night.

We all have them unfortunately. I rarely buy/drink wine cause I have to drink the whole bottle ... by myself.

Beer is more single person friendly. :)
