We use tinfoil. No nice grill marks, but no messy clean up either. TBG discovered the propane tank is malfunctioning, so he has to take it back. No grilling for us until he does.

Have you seen those copper sheets ... you get the grill marks but you just wash the sheets. I'd like to give them a try.

I only bbq a few times during the summer. Wish I could tell how much propane is left in the tank though cause running out during the bbq is frustrating.

I haven't seen those. I've never been crazy about grill marks, so I'll pass. Right now I just want to get our propane cannister replaced. It's leaking.

Grill marks are ... pretty. I guess I'm shallow. :)

Not at all. You know what you like. To me, grill marks always meant burnt meat. My da was a good man, but not much at barbecuing. :P

They replaced the canister without a problem, yay!

When I was young, my dad built a grill with bricks and a metal grid over a base of sand and heated up the charcoal. And then my mom did the barbecuing. :)

He was NOT the cook in the family though he had decided opinions on the results.

It was the only thing my mum let Da cook. It was a mistake most times...
