Very lovely. It's like having my own personal chef advising me. I'd never get TBG to eat salmon anything, but I might give these a whirl anyhow - thank you!

Thank you. You can always add tuna to half of the rice for him. :)

That might work for him. He does like tuna.

Fresh, baked and flaked tuna or even the canned stuff would work to flavour the rice. You can also use trout. Or finely minced cooked shrimp or crab if your budget allows.

I've missed your on-line presence this past weekend etc ... had fun making raspberry curd and the tamales, though I know they're not to your taste. The vegetarian filling for them was a lot of fun to come up with. And having a kg of home made red chile pulled pork in the freezer for the future makes me feel so efficient.

He doesn't care for trout either.

I won't lie and say it wasn't nice to have a break, but I missed everyone, too. You guys are family.

Hey, just because something isn't to my taste, that doesn't stop me from admiring the folks making them. :D

Trout tastes similarly to salmon ... to my uneducated fish palate so I can see that. Tuna is different. How does he feel about mackerel. It's SO SO fishy.

My RL world is much narrower than my online one. :)

Hope things aren't as crazy back at work as I suspect they will be.

I think trout and salmon are in the same family. He doesn't care for mackerel either, for that very reason.

You mean your work or mine? It was a morgue when I came in on Monday. I hope you will be getting some calls soon.

Your work. Slow is good except no calls means no ticket sales. And that is NOT good.

School starts the first Monday in September so I've still got a week and some. And September is slow.

Wow, our kids went back to school August 8th.

You are right about the no sales not being good.
