Thanksgiving 2016 - An Economical 12 Pound Turkey

Sorry for the picture overload but I wanted to show how many meals you can get out of one 12 pound turkey ... 16 servings of boneless breast meat, 10 turkey patties, at least 2 or 3 turkey mole wraps or whatever you want to do with the drumsticks. Click on the 'turkey' tag and go back to one of my first series of turkey posts when I used the roasted turkey meat for all kinds of sandwiches etc. I especially liked the Singapore noodles and the Turkey egg fu young. (Shame most of the pictures are expired.)

Did you get the turkey at No Frills? I noticed ours had really great deals on whole turkeys just before Thanksgiving

I got it at FoodBasics ... 99cents a pound frozen. I don't shop at No Frills. Not particularly convenient location wise when there's a FB right across the street from the library, the Beer Store etc. I go to Metro for the rest of my grocery shopping or Freshco.
