I toasted a couple of slices of the savoury bread this morning and had a fried egg and bacon sandwich for lunch. It makes the most amazing Texas toast which you can slather with butter. The rest is in the freezer as well as all but 3 slices of the babka.

... and I'm baking a sourdough ciabatta tomorrow.

If you have the space and the money to invest in a freezer, I think it's worth it. Mine came from my parents.
