Thank you. I wasn't very creative this weekend. Only the thought that I had mentioned that I was making them got me going. By the time they were baked it was 7:30pm and the fluorescent lighting was not kind to the pictures.
Maria, did you take some of those yummies to school with you? Did you get a lot of kids at the door? The numbers have been dwindling this past few years but for some unknown reason we got far more tricksters coming to the door this year. I ran out of chocolate bars so I guess we will buy more next year. Oct 31 was a beautiful fall day, but now we are bracing for a heavy frost. Hey we have a new government. I didn't vote for them, but I am happy and hopeful with this Junior.
I have taken my sugar cookies to school in the past, not this time though. We don't get many/any kids on our block as we're mostly older or retired with no kids so no one decorates etc. I'm just as happy not to bother giving out candy, to be honest. I didn't vote for the young pup either. I have few expectations to be honest.
