Never say never ... to sourdough starter.
Soup is a great way to use up leftover diced turkey meat, especially the white meat which can dry out quickly.
For this creamy turkey soup, I used potato gnocchi, and chopped baby spinach and grated carrots for colour, flavour and added nutrition.

The soup looks fabulous, so much better than my broccoli cheddar soup from last night. And these cinnamon rolls - *yum*
So glad I'm not closer or I'd be inviting myself to dinner all the time.

Loved the soup too. It didn't need the buns but I ate them together anyway. The cinnamon rolls WERE dangerous even if the sourdough was not my favourite dough to use for them. Still, with enough frosting on top ... ate 2, gave away 8 and have 2 more in the fridge. :)
