The pantry clearance goes well and this is the latest entry in my food diary.
I made a pot of red miso soup with one of the fake crab legs from my fridge, dried seaweed from my pantry and frozen miso paste and green onion from my freezer. For the rest of the meal, a couple of green onion pancakes and aloo keema curry from my freezer. Filling and fast, about half an hour. All I need now is some dessert. I could fill one of the baked cannoli shells in my freezer with whipping cream, but I'll probably end up with a piece of fruit.
ETA: I went with the cannoli so I could finally judge how the baked ones tasted. I found them to be somewhat 'floury' tasting and on the whole rather disappointing. I don't think that freezing the tubes did much to improve the texture either.
