I'm done!
I am officially done with the semester!!! My last project was due tonight at midnight and I got it turned in 20 min before the deadline. My mom was supposed to help me proofread it because the bitch of a professor that I have (actually she's a good professor, bad grader) dedicated 1/2 of our grade on the grammar of our project. I would expect that if we were learning grammar in this class, but we aren't. Whatever, I'm over it and her. But my mom got called into the hospital today because one of her church friends was having a really bad reaction to a surgery she had a week ago. She's been there since 11am today is spending the night with her in the hospital room. My mom wanted things brought up to her, so I took them over there and we sat in the ER lobby and edited my paper for 1 1/2 hr. I was doing really good w/ the sick people until a woman near buy started throwing up. As most of y'all know I have a bad phobia against that, so I got all panicky and we moved to a different part of the hospital. But I got the assignment done! So happy!
This last wednesday night was our cohort christmas party. It was ridiculously fun! We all rocked out on Rock Band. If you don't know what that is, it's basically the guitar hero game for a guitar, bass, drums, and singer. And of course alcohol and good food accompanied all of this. It was amazing! To top it all off, Lacey put on guitar hero 2 just for me so we could rock out to some My Chemical Romance. and rock out we did! Gosh it was such an awesome night! We'll definitely need to do that more often.
Tomorrow I have work in the morning. Anne of course didn't do her job of putting the board together, so I have to go in early and do it. She's also printing out the sheets for I35 from northcross, which never works. The system always fails. So that sucks. Oh well. If I don't do it, I get yelled at by parents. So I get to do it just so I don't have to deal with them. Damn it, Anne, just do your job! The great thing is, i get to see Esteban and he always makes me happy. We get to start ice dancing together soon and I'm super excited about it! I actually have a partner now! yay! After work I'm moving back to my apartment from my 3 night stay at the parents. I'm going to sleep all afternoon and shower and do my hair and stuff. Mainly get back to looking girly and not like some worn down college kid. Then in the evening I'm going to hang out w/ Ros for a while after she gets off work at 5. I haven't seen much of her since school started. So that should be fun. Then later that night is Daniel's grad party at his place. I'm hoping Ben and Blake come after the ice bats game. I need some friendly faces there! So far Daniel is the only one I know. It should be a really fun day though!
Sunday I'm hoping to come back over to my parents and do tons of xmas decorating. We have nothing up here. I gotta get the tree together. Well, first I gotta figure out where we're putting it this year. Then my dad and I are going to plan what to do for the outside. Last year we ran into the problem of the sprinkler system shorting out all the lights. So we have to come up with a plan. Should shape up to be quite a nice weekend :D
