summer stress?

I don't think I ever imagined having summer stress. This past weekend was full of it. We had our big competition here this weekend at the rink. Thursday I went and saw my friends skate and then picked up a judge late that night from the airport and brought her all the way to round rock. Friday I woke up at 5:30am, Saturday 4:00am, and Sunday 5:30am then proceeded to work the competition/ watch people until mid afternoon. They were long days. I also had a test monday morning in my govt class that i did not start studying for until saturday when i couldn't do much at the competition. I also had a couple of bad experiences at the rink on Sunday afternoon which made me feel as though I were one of the worst people in the world. I already had/have bad self-esteem issues, and these occurances did not help. I have much work to do in that area on myself, but I should start working on that beginning of next week. This week is dedicated to recovery from this weekend. I also started working in the afternoons at northcross teaching lessons. We have the same kids every day for a their 30min class. So I'm on the ice 3-5pm every afternoon. However, my boss scheduled 3 of us when there isn't any need, and of course she hasn't shown up so that we can talk with her about why there are 3 of us there. I replied the day she sent out the email about needing coaches, so I really should have these classes. Plus we've been talking about them quite a bit. It's all craziness and I stil have to figure out saturday's class schedule. ack!

I have new strength to get myself back in shape. Starting next week I will be training everymorning except for Wed. I will also have a jump class I can attend and possibly a conditioning class. On Wednesdays the trainer who contracts out of the rink is having a yoga class for the skaters from 12-1 for only $5 a session. That really excites me because I've wanted to work with her, but didn't have the financing to do it. So yay!

Michael was here for a while, but left today and that made me sad. Now I'm watching Romeo and Juliet the modern version. It's right at the end, so it's a bit sad right now. But I'm gaining much more appreciation for it than I had when I was younger.

Not much else to report right now. Hope everyone's summer is going a bit better than mine.
