Activity #13 - There's no place like home

For this month actvity I decided to describe our houses as icons and specific styles that can interpret separate rooms in our little kingdoms :)


HALL - main entrance in home. My suggestion would be to make the beginning of the movie/show in this icon, or description of a character (by text or main subject the character uses)

BEDROOM - basically all we do here is sleep :) So in your icons main mood would be sleepy icons with maybe star textures, smugdes, light textures, maybe pastel coloring. Also as dreams may be sometimes surrealistic, you can make some unnatural things, i.e. flying, or adding some unhuman stuff

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM - FOOD. FOOD EVERYWHERE! Make some icons with food, the more the better! And don't forget the drinks!:D

LIVING ROOM - we sit here, we watch tv there, we talk there. Make some rather vibrant icons, with creative texture usage.

ATTIC - this room is full of old stuff we use to hide when something'd too small/too old/ too 'out' for us. In your icons I'd like you to interpret it by making 'old' style: sepia'ish/muted coloring, vintage textures, any technique than makes icon look 'older'

GARAGE - obviously room for cars and any mechanical vehicles. And obviously icons need to have vehicle in the icon :)

CONSERVATORY - greenhouse, especially one in which plants are arranged aesthetically for display, as at a botanical garden. This icon should be full of plants, flowers (even as texures), green color (it don't need to be inside building! :) )

OFFICE - room for 'work'. In the icons with this topic, your characters need to wear suits, or any 'official' uniforms for their profession.
