There is some debate as to Severus' birthyear - Rowling left ambiguous clues, but it's probably either 1959 or 1960, birthday January 9th. Hermione was born September 19th, 1979. So it's 19 or 20 years.

Were you still planning to change the text on that Luna icon? (We wants it, we does, precioussssss.)

Drat, I didn't save that last email. Where I thought we'd left it was that I'd given up on the original text but loved the images you had. So I asked for the same images, as follows:

The sand-between-the-toes one was just too obscure, I think it only ever worked in my own twisted little brain!

Squee! I LOVE IT! The first line had me giggling insanely, and I think I lost it completely when I read "Besides, an enraged Severus was a vigorous Severus. The Snapes entertained quite often."

I love all of the tributes - Harry's being perhaps the most touching - and the ending was perfection! *happy sigh* Oh, and I loved Severus referring to George as "the one-eared wonder." ROTFL You did Snape's voice to perfection - "You would deny me pompoms on my birthday?" *giggling madly* Love it!

The pompoms were for you, of course. Well, the whole thing was, starting with the cheer you requested, but the pompoms were a little tribute to the drabble that inspired this. I may turn the cheer into a drabble later today.

I think I lost it completely when I read "Besides, an enraged Severus was a vigorous Severus.

Severus cannot lose his edge, nor can he keep turning it on Hermione. I thought this was a good compromise. Everyone wins, even Ron!
