On We March In Our April Suits, March In Our April Boots...
Well, the past couple of weeks have been up and down for me. I'll start with the good stuff though...
- Got a 2nd interview for the Benefit Analyst thingy in the job centre. Second time I've applied for it and second time I've got through the assessment stage. Reckon I'm in with a pretty good shout, especially since only about 5 out of 13 people actually got a 2nd interview, so wish me luck!
- Went to see Misery Signals on Wednesday there with the Corkster. Was a decent gig, but tiredness and dickheads made it an early night for us. Only seen about 6 songs but what I seen was awesome enough. Got myself a t-shirt as well.
- Mercenary in 13 days! Cannot feckin' wait! This is gonna be the best gig ever...and if it isn't, it'll still be damn good, haha!
Ok, now the bad...
- Fucking Amazon...pricks...
- Gambling is for mugs. I'm turning into a mug :-S
And the in-between...
- Quit Uktena on Monday there. Lets just put it down to creative differences, although it totally isn't that. Don't really want to get into it just now as I have other plans which I can't really talk about right now...but I'll keep you posted.
- Some of you might have heard something going round that yaG might be splitting up. Just to confirm, most of us really don't have time to jam or anything just now, so we're taking a wee extended break by the looks of things. We haven't really all had a chance to sit down and discuss the future or that, but with the way things are at the minute, there doesn't really seem to be a future for us. I'm sure there'll be wee one-off gigs here and there, but I don't see us becoming a full-time touring band or anything like that, simply due to time, jobs, other projects, etc...So basically, we're gonna be doing pretty much the same as we've been doing for the past year.
I can't remember what else I was gonna talk about...my memory is shockin, haha.
