Hello hello! I'm sitting on the plane back to LA right now, wondering where all the time went. This tour was so exciting every second I feel like it flew by me. Man are we wrecked! I haven't slept in two days and I know the rest of the band was falling apart on these last days. Since I last left off we were on our way to Detroit Rock City. It was great to finally make it there after a few failed attempts in the past. The show went really good and then it was off to Canada "ay". It was our first time there too.

Toronto was beautiful but I never got a second to breathe because of all the presswork Aaron and I had to do. We've had the number one single in Canada for the last month, so you can imagine the insane two days we had there. Instead of traveling to all the radio stations in Canada Aaron and I went to a studio and did 10 radio station interviews over the phone. It was early in the morning and Aaron and I were silly with sleep depravation. Each station at the end of their interview want us to say liners like "hey this is Alex & your listening to....blah blah blah". There was this one in particular that no sh#t took Aaron and I twenty-five minutes to say and it was only one sentence. It was something like "This is Alex and Aaron and your listening to The hairy wolf on Ragina's #1 station!" I know we're childish but a city named "Ragina"..."the hairy wolf"...too much to take at 8 AM. Aaron and I were laughing so hard we both started crying. It didn't help either when some of the DJ's were like "what's yer stury all aboot ay hoser?", but I know my native Los Angles "like oh my god" must have sounded far funnier to them.

Canada in general including the awesome show was one of the biggest highlights for me on this tour. Everyone was so polite and the city was so clean and the venue called the Opera House was huge. The crowd was exceptional that night and the overall vibe took it all to a higher level. We were sad to go but it was then off to Brockport, NY. We were all complaining like pussies about the cold in Canada, but little did we know a little college in Brockport would be ZERO degrees and snowing. Hard. The show was fun but I was getting hypothermia running from the bus to the venue all day.

Boston was a blast. The venue was smaller than most but packed way beyond capacity. That was an intense show. I always go to grab peoples hands while we're performing but this one girl had like a gorilla grip and wouldn't let go for like two minutes...I must admit I was a little scared. My wee little frail hand was all red and crushed. Anyway, then it was back to NY but this time the big apple, our second home.

I think I've spent more time in NY City in the last 6 months then home. I'm not complaining though, I love NY. Some moron in our team of morons that run the show booked us in the smallest club ever in NY. Why you ask? It's cool right? An underground club that holds two hundred people. Two nights. Both sold out. The band and I were really nervous about those shows because of the size of the stage mainly. I couldn't even jump without hitting my head on the ceiling or turn around without the fear of slapping some band member in the balls (which did happen numerous times...yick). Besides the high energy level and the great crowd, the first night was a catastrophe. Aaron's amp blew up right before we walked on stage. Sean's pedal board kept falling apart making his guitar turn off. Every time I'd look back at Nate his seat and his drums were falling off the back of the stage which was pretty funny because it looked like he was a lazy low rider drummer slouching back. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, something happened that I hadn't even fathomed before in all my worries...we blew out the breaker in the club right in the middle of Could It Be Any Harder. The power in the whole place went out. It was a scary few minutes and very embarrassing. Luckily they fixed it quickly and we continued the show with only moderate problems. The following night in NY was amazing though. We felt more comfortable and secure that nothing more could possibly go wrong. The crowd was even better the second night and so was the show.

Washington DC was great as usual. Definitely one of my favorite places to play. During the day Aaron and I did some radio things that included a drunken party of thousands at an event called "kegs and eggs". There had to be like two thousand beyond drunk people in this club complete with Mardi Gras beads and flashing. I never thought in a million years all these people would actually quiet down enough to hear Aaron and I play Wherever You Will Go and Adrienne acoustically. But I was surprised to find everyone singing along so loudly that I couldn't even hear my own guitar playing to keep in key or tempo. I got to keep some beads people threw at me without even having to show my manly breasts.

The 9:30 club was a great venue to play and it was packed with excited fans and all the regulars that had been following us the whole tour. It's so cool to see familiar faces in the crowd every night. It always puts a smile on my face to see that some of you love our music so much that you would travel so far to see it. I'm always amazed at the dedication you guys show us. The final night of the tour was in Philly...the perfect place to end the ride. It was a kick ass night that never ended. I still haven't slept since Washington, DC.

Well, I'm sad to be going home so soon but relieved I can get some rest. Next week we're going over seas to a bunch of countries for about a month and a half. We will be starting another bigger and better US tour in May. I'm for sure going to keep writing to you all when were on the other side of the world. I can only imagine what's in store for us over there. There will definitely be lots to write about. Thank you all so much for coming out to see us and showing your support on this tour. We had a blast. It will be weird not being around for the launch of "Adrienne", video and song, so make sure everything goes good O.K.?

I'll talk to you guys soon! All our love!
