All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day
Alright so this spring break has had one hell of a start. The ski trip was the most fun I have ever had.
Wolf Creek was so crazy. I'd go off cliffs that weren't even touched by people and the snow was so powderey that it would cover my board completely. The best run up there was definately the double diamond waterfall area. Me and some buds went out to look for it, and I left them all because I saw a path through the trees that looked awesome, so i took it. I got through all that and that accidentally led me to the waterfall area. It was so damn steep and I was all by myself, so I almost didn't go down it, but I decided I would because I probably wouldn't find it again. So I flew down that and never hit a tree. When I got out of there, I could see no trails from other people, so I didn't know where to go and I ended up getting stuck in a creek of snow and had to crawl out. But it was worth it because I got to shred a freakin waterfall.
There was a lot of other cool things that went down:
-hiking across a huge field of snow and discovering it was a frozen pond halfway through
+meeting a bunch of new people
+Sit in a ski lift with a couple about my age...boy falls off and I talk with his girlfriend through the lengthy ride up
+Tearing up the mountain with Joe Funk
+...-Having an awesome run and then getting nailed by Daniel from behind
+Flying down the highest point of Alberta
I'm real sore from all that and on Friday I'm heading back out to San Antonio. This will be the best spring break ever
