Prince!
So, last night I saw Prince live at The Garden (that's Madison Square Garden for the non-natives). Fantastic concert - he played a lot of his hits (not all, the man has had a lot of hits!), played some amazing guitar solos as well as piano, strutted around the stage as the fans ate it up and put on a hell of a show. The man is an amazing talent - he played every instrument on the 1999 album, still looks great and still has the moves (although he no longer does splits, lol). And he wore purple! (of course)
One of the opening acts was Janelle Monáe whse album Archandroid has been on almost every critic's top ten list. Very, very theatrical, perfect to see live.
