Not Only Are My Kids Talented
but their friends are awesome too.
Ben is one of Zachary's friends. He is not in regional band, not in state band but is in east coast band, the only person in the High School to have that level of achievment. He plans to become a jazz personsionist and is hoping to attend Juliard. He has already been invited to play in Europe and has met and played with several jazz greats.
Nick, one of Aaron's closest friends, is finishing up at Maryland Institute College of the Arts (one of Zachary's top choices). He's an illustration major and has already had drawings published in various national magazines, including the New Yorker. He was recently awarded the silver medal in the National Society of Illustrators, the only student to have ever been so honored. His web site is here. It's been a real pleasure to know these young men (I've known them both for years) and see them grow into their talent. I expect to see great things from both of them.
