The fighting Agathons, man. Them and the Tighes are probably it, you're right.

Dee's suicide floored and devastated me. I did NOT see that coming.

I think there is more to be revealed re the Final Five, and the nature of humanity itself- and Kara is the key to that. But no, her and Apollo will never be Twu Lub. Thank gods. He still annoys the hell out of me, for some reason.

I love this damn show. I can't believe it's ending.

I like Lee but he and Kara are a train wreck. I tend to prefer couples that are good for each other instead of poison.

I didn't forsee Dee's suicide either. Although once it happened, it was obvious. What are your choices when nothing is left?

And I can't begin to guess where this is going. Is everyone actually a cylon? Maybe.

I thought perhaps Dee was also not sure that Lee and Kara wouldn't get together again (although I agree that ship has sunk).

But something interesting may yet be revealed about Kara, I think.

Oh, I think there's a lot left to find out about Kara. Like what the hell happened to her and what is she now.

And I doubt Kara was a blip on Dee's radar as far as her decision. She killed herself because she couldn't take one more day of there being no ending except forever searching and fighting. Her last hope was gone.

Dualla gave all her remaining strength and hope to Lee, because she wouldn't be needing it anymore. She stayed generous in extremis, which is consistent with her character all through. I don't think she had despaired for all of them, for humanity, only for herself. She believed her odds of future happiness were now too low to make the struggle worthwhile.

I liked that Kara seemed shocked and sad that her rescuer was dead, not just for Lee's sake. And she was so beautiful, making her own funeral pyre. If she were in a different show, that driftwood would have been salty enough to bring rest to a troubled spirit. But it's never that easy on BSG, and she's going to be haunted by herself for a while to come.

Well, I suspect that even if Kara was a lot more stable, burning your own body would be pretty upsetting to anyone. I hope she's able to talk to Lee (or somebody) about what's going on. But I doubt it.

I don't really care about Lee and Kara as a couple, but I do think they can be friends. They haven't been very nice to each other as a couple.

I hope Adama and Roslin can salvage something, and I also hope that Adama and Tigh's relationship survives.

Tigh and Ellen can't have been so great together. If so, why were they both such heavy drinkers?

I really see this as more a show about friendships than relationships, though. Also, I'm not sure we should expect them to come to an end. I think we're going to find out that they're going to just be the fleet, for good or bad.

Like I said, Lee and Kara have a lot of issues. I'm not sure Kara should be in a relationship with anyone.

I don't think that both Adama and Roslin will survive to the end. My guess is Roslin dies somewhere along the line.

Saul and Ellen, for all their infidelity, boozing, craziness apparently love each other deeply.

We never saw them together, but I think Kara cared about Lee's brother more than she did Lee. Also, I think she has more affection for Adama as a dad than she does Lee as a friend or a lover. Kara's messed up. Probably because she's some hybrid cylon/human creation that hasn't performed as anticipated.

Adama won't die because he's the star of the show, in my opinion. Roslin can't die until the last two or three episodes or left because she's too important to the story, now. I suppose they could kill her fast and have her be appearing to Adama in his thoughts until the series is over.

Maybe they carry the memories of their past cylon relationships, but the way they were in this incarnation was pretty sick. Maybe that's the reason they drink and the reason Kara is such a mess, they're cylons and can't figure the humanity out. I don't know.

I don't know. There is no doubt in my mind that Kara loves Lee a lot, but for a lot of reasons she doesn't feel she deserves consideration from anyone. She doesn't (or didn't) have much self esteem.

My Husband believes that both Roslin and Adama will die before the very end. The whole Moses never made it to the promised land thing.

And just because Saul and Ellen have a seemingly dysfunctional relationship, doesn't mean they don't love each other fiercely. We saw that on New Caprica. Love comes in many forms.

It was an awesome episode, and such a heartbreaker. So many of our strongest characters laid bare and found themselves without hope. And so many questions being asked; certainly more than were answered ( ... )

I agree that I need to know more about what's up with Kara. Although seeing your own dead body would be a major mind frak for anyone, I would think.

And I complelely agree about who the most stable characters are right now. What a turnaround.
