Am I out of place in this class? any opinions would be great.
It's a 300 level history class, which I thought I'd be able to manage since it was described as simply being an undergrad lecture course.
At second look, I'm the only freshman and there is a large number of history majors in the class. From the syllabus, it also appears to be a higher level class, much better suited and formed for upperclassmen.
On a similar note, the class was full after normal reg. but spots opened up when it changed rooms. So yes, from that you can clearly say I should have taken a hint.
I am also hoping to switch into a full class to replace this one. However, since I am only a freshman, I have no experience with switching after original registration, and especially once classes have started.
Any advice, esp. from people who have attempted to switch into full classes first couple of weeks of the semester would be great.
