The Weekenders - aka, Team Tigers
Had lots of fun this weekend.
Tigers game with Bryana Thompson and Paris Ross-Zehery. Except, now they're Bryana Granderson, Paris Inge, and me - Ashley Porcello.
Went to bed at 6/630 without meaning to. I fell asleep during "BASEketball" so I'll have to OnDemand it after this entry. Anyway, I was gonna pull a Warped Tour and not sleep at all, but woke up scared at 9:25am. Luckily. I have no idea what I would've done if I wouldn't have woken up then. It doesn't matter, it all worked out. So, I woke called Paris and told her to get ready. Then I called Bryana and told her we'd be over in an hour. So, about 11am we go pick up Bryana, get gas, and we're on I-96 West towards Grand Rapids/Lansing at 11:45. So we left ahead of schedule but not really since I wanted to leave at like, 10:30 but getting Paris up and ready is like pulling teeth with your bare hands. Except, that's probably way easier.
Arrive in Detroit a little over 3 hours later, which is great since the weather was all shitty and it's like a 3 hour drive on a good day. We over-pay for parking and walk to Comerica Park, but we have to take pictures and shake my shittastic Alltel phone into working because we had to use the navigation feature on it since I was all turned around. We walked in a big circle and finally found the park. Wasn't so bad. Went into the team store, bought my shirts, and then walked back to the car to smoke.
Then I get a beer and I drink and I got the hugest boner all fucking day because I'm in love with Rick Porcello. Has anyone else youtube'd his games from high school? The guy's freaking amazing. I seriously don't know how the Tigers got so lucky as to get him. Seriously. His stats are really good and growing up on baseball I get a boner for a great young pitcher. Let alone on the freaking Tigers. Gotta stick with the Michigan pride. Anyway, had a boner for Porcello all day. Then we won 6-2 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Fuck you Tampa Bay. Haha. Oh, except, sorry Sunny. You and your Florida loyalties. Haha. I seriously wanna go visit you when the Tigers are in town for spring training. Hellzyeah.
Except, Bryana pointed out one really good thing about the Rays. Their third baseman, Evan Longoria, looks like Butthead from Bevis and Butthead would look like if it were ever live-action and not a cartoon. Seriously. If they ever make a Bevis and Butthead movie, they better get Evan Longoria as Butthead, otherwise I'll refuse to go.
Did I mention that it downpored there? It was gay. Fucking rain all day.
Then I drove home. Well, to Nick and Nigel's for a party. It was fucking sweet. I'm brushing up on my beer pong skills and Team Hollywood (me and Paris) are a fucking force to be reckoned with. And with Bryana cheering us on, we make people cry. Fer shure.
Uhm, Idk, I had a great weekend though.
Mandy turned 23 on Sunday. :) I love her.
I guess her and Gregg are going today to go look for her present. I'm stoked to see a picture cause I KNOW WHAT SHE'S GETTING! I think it's pretty sweet Gregg's gonna let her pick out too. Especially cause she won't be a jerk about it like some girls, yanno?
Anyway, I wanna get back into writing. I'll be working on White Lightning and start writing down more ideas. I'm pretty excited to get back into writing. Maybe I'll FINALLY publish something soon. We'll see. Wish me luck, I'll keep you updated.
