Time is indeed running out for Alex 'Bolly Knickers' Drake in the penultimate episode of the time-travel cop show as, prompted by oily investigator Jim Keats, she attempts to seduce the truth out of Gene Hunt over Sam Tyler's death. Expect a shoal of red herrings as at last, Alex and Gene go on a date, with Bols uttering the line Gene thought he'd never hear : "Get your coat, you've pulled." But - there had to be a but - can Gene really have filled his snakeskin boots, or is something horribly grisly about to emerge?
