End of Season Two
I have been thinking about Ashes (I am supposed to be revision so it seemed like the sensible thing to do) And I have a question about the end of season two and how it related to whats going on now and all the theories about the ~meaning of life~
Ok, so at the end of season two Alex told Gene that she was in a coma. I can't remember it completely, I haven't gotten that far in my rewatch yet, but from what I remember he doesn't take it well. Says she is lying and doesn't trust her.
So how does that fit into the theory that Gene is all powerful in the world, some kind of god/angel like character?
Was he just pretending he didn't believe her? Or was he just surprised to find out she knows she is dying because, using the theory they are all dead/dying, no one else realizes that this is a false world?
Or maybe he doesn't know he is the centre of some kind of purgatory like convergence?
What do you think this all means for the Gene is a good/Keats is bad theory? Do you think it will be addressed?
