Series One Rewatch -- Let's pick a day of the week
Hmm. Looks like I'm in charge of this (no good deed, etc.) Hokay.
With an 18-hour time difference betweent the east coast of Australia and the west coast of the U.S., obviously there's not much point in trying to do an all-fans-together, synchronized live rewatch. So I was thinking of just throwing up a post once a week, maybe remarking on a couple of things about the episode or pointing at old reviews, and everybody could pop in with their PoV in the comments as time allowed.
If I put it up late evening (10 or 11 pm) my time, it'll show up as mid-afternoon-ish the next day for the Ozzies, and first thing in the morning U.K. IOW, if I post on what is for me late Thursday night, it'll show up as mid-afternoon Friday in Australia and as the U.K. crowd is waking Friday morning. Yeah, it means the east coast U.S. folks must either stay up late or wait until they wake up to comment, but then I didn't hear any offers to put up the post themselves from that crowd. *grins* If I post late Friday (for me) the Brits see it Saturday morning and Austraila as Sat. afternoon.
Given that, when do you want me to put the post up? (Be sure to stick a location on your answer, e.g. Thursday night Central U.S, or Saturday morning U.K. time, or whatever.)
I wasn't planning to throw up a separate post for fic / art. I figured 1) we just did that a year ago, it's not like a LoM rewatch where it's been two or three years since it aired and 2) the comm's pretty quiet right now except for pointers to pre-series publicity stuff. So if you're so moved to create stuffs, I guess just post your icons / fic / whatever the regular way. I expect the mods to tell me if I'm off-base, because it's really no biggie to put up the post for art when I do the one for discussion.
