DGM 190: I WANNA HUG LI'L KANDA!
Okay, so. Apparently the latest chapter came out faster. Hee~ <3
Damn, I wanna ramble with picspam like last time but I'm on my mobile phone. So maybe I'll just do the rambling with words XD
Okay. My overall impression on DGM 190: Morbidly funny. It could've been an angst-fest, but the way Hoshino drew it and told the tale... It was hilarious despite being morbid.
First of all, Allen's face when seeing child!Kanda out of the water-thingie was priceless! He was so shocked it was funny XD
Oh, and apparently, Wisely messed up a bit so that not only Allen, but Road was also thrown into Kanda's memory. LoL. Cyrill's and Tyki's faces upon realizing about Road was LOL as well XD
And then Kanda. Oh God, li'l Kanda is... LOL! Apparently, he was 'born' with that foul temper XD
I found it funny when Yuu threw Alma to the wall next to Allen's head, and Allen had this 'WTF' face while kinda protecting Road from being hit by Alma's body? (I'm sure it was just reflex. *nods*). Oh Yuu's demonic face had been developed at such an early age. He was scary even as a kid XD
And Alma... Alma's a dork! But then, now we know why Allen gets on Kanda's nerves a lot. Apparently he had always hated people who smile a lot since forever. And Kanda might see Alma's shadows in Allen...
Anyway. Wow, in this chapter we got to see Kanda CRY and LAUGH. So now we know it's not impossible XD
But seriously, the forced synchronization looked really painful. And the fact that Yuu cried afterwards, thinking that he might as well go back to slumber because this world is a dark place and it's hard to breathe... It made my heart twisted I wanna hug him >.<
Oh, and the scene with Alma afterwards was awesome. We got to see how their friendship build up through fists and blood and fell-off arms... It really made me laugh when Yuu said his condition wasn't so bad but the next second, just like Alma, his right arm just fell to the grounds, and his pained reaction was just...lol. Now that's what I call morbidly funny. Made me went LOL and OUCH at the same time.
And then they just had to get into a fistfight again (Alma punching Yuu till he flew off was LOL!) and got all their bandaged wounds opened again.
But then they laughed. And of course, the one time we got to see Yuu laugh is after a bloody fight and he was lying on a pool of his own blood (and maybe Alma's). That scene was amusing, funny, heartwarming and morbid all at once. Oh Hoshino, you are awesome.
But the ending line... Just when Yuu and Alma got to be 'friends' through that bloody fight, just when "Yuu" felt like laughing with Alma like this made him easier to breathe in this dark world... Kanda's voice came in and says "Alma, it was 193 days after this when I destroyed you."
That's just... UGH! *huggles Kanda* the poor thing >.<
Now I'm wondering what exactly Allen's reaction to this would be. He only showed up in the first few pages, but still... He was watching all this, right? With Road, even... I wonder if Road was just watching with him or if she'd try to... I dunno, getting 'things' into Allen's head.
Now I can't wait for the next chapter. Gah!
