nutz over chocolate
i think i missed the whole month of may's entries! i've been using my work laptop at home so much that i forget to check certain things! hello LJ world!
i'm going to go visit my grandma in a bit. she's at a nursing home in fremont now and has been there for a couple of weeks. she's getting a lot better and lately she's been a lot better about eating. i'm not sure how long she'll be there for, but i can't imagine bringing her home will be easy. well, maybe the bringing back, but having her be back will be different. the first couple of days that she was gone, it was eerily quiet at home. i've kind of gotten used to it, and i think it's been really healthy for everyone in my family to be able to do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, without having to worry about having someone at home, or getting home at a certain time for things. guess we'll just have to see how things go. my grandma is a tough cookie.
work is going swimmingly. the days seem to fly by, the weeks are a little longer, and i always seem to have a ton of things on my to-do list. busy, is definitely better than not busy. it's been kind of scary lately because these 2 girls that i knew that were contractors were suddenly let go. i guess that's that uncertainty of a contractor. i don't know if i should be worried but i should step my game up somehow.. eek!
