New York New York...

Yes folks, here I am in the city so nice they named it twice. currently sitting in the vast lobby of the Hilton new york...46 floors!! this place (and just about every other building in this city, has *sets* of lifts, and you have to get the one that goes the the floor range you're on. I can feel the change in air pressure in my ears when I go up and down to my room on the 16th!
During my stay so far, I have presented twice(thankfuly no more to do so am now relaxing)
and last night drank copious amounts at the expense of IBM business partners... oh yeah.. we went to an amazing resteraunt... 12 people...$1200 bill....
I am litteraly 8 blocks from Time square, about 10 blocks (in the other direction) from central park, a few hundred yards from 5th ave, and in the other direction, broadway. This is SO cool.
I just have one more night to spend here, to see if I can once again insinuate myself into a group that will buy my expensive meals and nice wine ($40 a bottle)
My oh so clever plan of 'get up early, go to be early' to avoid getting too far off UK time was pretty much blown to shit last night as I staggered back at 2am,..having found a bar that served cider... ok it was 'irish 'hard' cider' (do the irish call cider 'hard' I don't think so, it's an american thing becuase they produce something they *call* cider that isn't alcoholic..what the fuck is that about?!)
It is now time for me to venture out and do some shopping, but I shall part saying... you have not had a good resteruant meal, until you've had guys with HUGE (2 foot) sqewers of MEAT (pork loin, prime rib, chicken, lamb etc) and they just cut you slices right at your plate and keep going until you DIE or wimp out and flip your counter to red...so cool.

anyways, l8r y'all
