Catch that String! catch that String!!

Well barely been married for a month and a half and already got a baby...cat.. yes we finally gave into the long standing desire to have a cat, and went out last night to buy a kitten. who is basically a small fury ball of random violence. It seems that kittens use a simple process to determine what to do with given situations.

1) extend claws against surface
2) if surface perceptably gives/moves or has ny reaction not totally inanimate...ATTACK!!
Yes this kitten will bring leaping death from above upon such things as carpets, pillows, duvets, arms, hands, faces, fluff, wires...

Of course the time between picking him up and getting him home (a few hours) was spent peacfully asleep.. this was so as to save energy for when we were trying to sleep to wander around on teh bed and experimentally stab things with claws.
at some point..late.. very very late. he calmed down, until about 5am at which point he began attacking Sara... so she finally put him out of the bedroom and shut the door. however when the alarm went off she had no compunction about replacing him on the bed whilst she made tea.. so at 6.30am I had kitten attemptin to chew my watch whilst getting a good grip on my arm... remarkable how hard it is to sleep through that.
but hey, he's cute and currently probably wreaking havok in my flat...

Oh, and we named him Artemis (or Art for short) who, for those not familiar, is a character from some childrens books, an evil genius and criminal mastermind... as we all know that cats are the true evil masterminds, cleverly appearing on the laps of human scapegoats such as Dr No, and Goldfinger...

Anyway that seemed worth an update, if Ic oudl be bothered to find an image hosting server I'd put up a picture. but I can't, maybe I'll just add a small picture in the place of my ugly mug in my profile.
