The current circumstances with (or rather, without) Bob have been really hard on Enzo. After
talking to Dot in the bar, it occurred to him that they must be far, far worse for her. After she cheered him up (and he can see what she was doing, in retrospect), it's only fair that he do the same.
Thus, when Dot comes home, she will be greeted first by a variety of slightly questionable smells, then by a codeawful mess in the kitchen, a pile of dirty dishes in the sink, and a platter of very unevenly cooked C-loin tips and a big bowl of too-salty mashed potatoes on the table.
