[Dolorosa hears the door close and immediately gets out of bed. It really could only be Sollux entering the house, unless someone was trying to break in. She quickly runs to the door and is overcome with relief when she sees him]

Sollux! Where have you been?

I've been at a friends house.

[she doesn't exactly know if she believes you]

Which friend? Aradia was worried about you and no one seemed to know where you were?

[He looks to the side and stays quiet, trying to think of something to say.]

Sollux. Where were you?

[He stays quiet for one more minute, then looks back over at Dolorosa's direction.]

It's early, I'm tired. I'm going to bed.

[And he tries to walk past her up to his room.]

[She puts a hand on his shoulder as he walks past] This is about more than just you being blind, Sollux. I'm worried. There is someone dangerous here now, someone who may target you because of your blood. Please, don't disappear again.
