There is always going to be tragedy in Sollux's life

842 Hastings Boulevard

[Sollux was more then worried when he woke up this morning. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach when he started to look around his destroyed house, not seeing any others around. The feeling grew worse when he went over to the tree that he had his lusus chained to. The tree was still there, though it was more like a burnt ( Read more... )

[Everything was gone. Everything. The only thing she owned that was truly hers was fabric, but that and everything else was gone as well. How did it happen? Why did it happen? She couldn't answer either of those questions. For now though, she could get herself together and find her housemates, maybe go looking for others.]

[When she gets up she sees Sollux kneeling where a tree used to be, she remembers seeing something there before. His lusus if she recalls correctly. Carefully she makes her way to Sollux, placing a hand on his shoulder.]

I'm glad you're well.

Do you know what happened here? Why is everything destroyed except for us? [she looks at her hands] Perhaps this body is stronger than we knew.

[she kneels next to him, but keeps her hand on his arm, offering them both a type of connection, as if saying you're not alone] How could this happen during the night without anyone noticing. It's almost unbelievable. Perhaps we're dreaming and it'll all be over soon.

You believe that the drones had something to do with this?

I'm not trying to divert the blame from one of the drones but it is also possible that someone got one of their powers back and it caused this destruction. I do not want to place blame on anyone just yet, it is not something I am able to do.

If there is no town to reside in perhaps they would let us go? It is an odd way of thinking, I agree, but it is something I find very possible. At the same time, I agree with you, it is more likely to not be a non-droned person. Oh, I'm talking in circles.
