Character Age: Unknown. Physically in her teens. can probably swing both ways as her physical appearance seems to get younger or older depending on the media, but I would prefer if she ended up in an adult slot

Personality: Momo is a death god, though more sympathetic towards the living than most, including her cat familiar, Daniel. She's fairly quiet-natured girl, interfering in the world of the living more often than she does simply doing her job, and tries to ease the suffering of both the living and dead. In the manga, it's stated she doesn't really like her job, either, which is why she wears white.
Momo could also be said to be a mothering-type person; in Episode 4 of the anime, when Chiaki becomes sick, she takes care of both Chiaki and her brother, as Chikai's deceased mother has left behind lingering feelings towards Chikai, worrying that she's overdoing everything in an attempt to fill the empty spot left behind by her absence. Because of her general tendency to care for people in general, especially those left behind, she isn't particularly an ordinary death god.
As the dead sometimes tend to have lingering thoughts and regrets, Momo has a tendency to visit their loved ones to offer comfort, so as to help the dead move on to the other side. When it comes to her job in general, she avoids taking a life if it's not necessary, which is the primary way she interferes; this has happened in at least two cases in the anime, in which she either convinced them to live, or even that they weren't even dead at all, simply in a coma. This could be attributed to her gentle nature, or even her dislike of her job, but either way, she helps more than she reaps.
Despite being teased by Daniel about it, Momo is also somewhat of a crybaby...though that's not really the correct term much as it is Daniel's term for her. The dead, as Momo explains, can't cry any longer, so she cries for them. Whether or not that really does make her a softy, the fact that she cares so much for the dead and the living is a striking contrast to how shinigami are more than likely normally perceived.
Abilities: As a shinigami, momo is tasked with reaping the souls of the dead, and the bell of Daniel's collar is usually what those who are about to die soon hear. She can't be seen by normal people, unless they've had someone close to them die or witnessed a death, either. Despite being a death god, though, momo does tend to interfere more than simply reap, and has been known to carry on messages from spirits of those who have lingering thoughts, and thus can't pass on just yet, to their loved ones.
